  头牌大餐当属著名的葡萄牙香肠,此类香肠以韧劲十足、味道浓烈而享誉四海。腌料丰富的猪肉、醇厚的橄榄油及蒜与洋葱混合调制,给人口味浓郁、制作工艺天然的第一印象;每种香肠与以其为原料烹制的菜品皆令人垂涎欲滴,客人可以搭配葡式血肠(Morcela)、葡式面肠(Farinheira)、葡式腊肠(Chouricao)及熏火腿(Prosciutto)细细享用。

  千万别忘了尝尝各种滑润可口的奶酪。产自阿连特茹的塞尔帕奶酪,新鲜时香甜松软,经过一两年的成熟后却是另一番浓郁干爽的风味,带给人愉悦的味觉享受;适于单独享用的山羊乳干酪“Cabreiro” 口感醇厚;最受欢迎的葡萄牙奶酪是一种绵羊乳干酪“Queijo da Serra”,入口柔滑、口味清香。

  The flavors of Portugalcome alive at the Hilton Wangfujing. Guest master chefs Elisabete and FernandoReal are back to bring you real traditional Portuguese dishes. With more than60 recipes to share, their home-style favorites straight from the villages thatbore them will introduce coriander, pepper, ginger, curry, saffron and paprikato Beijing’spalate。

  The plethora of dishes is rich, filling and full-flavored. The caldo verdetraditional soup of potato, shredded kale, and chunks of chouriço sausage iscreamy and divine, while the famous bacalhau cod dishes are pervasive andmesmerizing, especially the roasted codfish with garlic and extra virgin oliveoil. Served with roasted new potatoes and sautéed spinach with corn bread,finished with balsamic vinegar it is ethereal in experience。

  Each dish is filled with quality ingredients prepared simply to preservetheir distinctive flavors. On the surface this may sound plain, but no. It isteeming in Mediterranean and Moorish influences, with amazing flavors andtextures。

  The center piece is of course the legendary sausages, renowned for beinglusty and robust. The seasoned pork, strong olive oil, garlic and onions givean image of strongly flavored, simple cooking, and each sausage and sausagepork based dish is excellent and you can delight with the Morcela, Farinheira,Chouricao, and Prosciutto。

  You must also taste the delicious creamy little cheeses. Rejoice in tastingthe "Serpa" from the Alentejo, sweet and unctuous when it is fresh,and stronger and dryer after one or two years of aging. Unless you prefer the"cabreiro", a strong goat cheese suited on its own. The most popularPortuguese cheese, the "Queijo da Serra", a sheep cheese, with smoothconsistency and delicate flavor。

  Do not miss the famous Stuffed eggs with tuna fish and mint mayonnaise,Carrot and zucchini salad, and Chicory salad with toasted almond, Duck Gratin,or the Pork ears salad with coriander which will totally seduce you。

  The Floating islands, Carrots pudding, Coconut pudding, and Almond andchila tart are each decadent, moist, and scintillating. The Coconut pudding wasalmost impossible to put down, with a blend of heavenly coconut and addictivesugar, while the Almond and chila tart was indescribably fluffy andeffervescently sublime. All the pastries are by Fernando Marque and are basedon traditional recipes dating back to the 17th century. They are made fresh dailyby hand, and are both elegant yet full of flavor and texture!

  Portuguese cuisine is typically hugely underrepresented outside of Portugal. Oftenconfused with Spanish cooking, it is, in fact, quite distinct.
