　　The bright pop art-style recalls Andy Warhol's iconic prints, but look closer and it is not Marilyn Monroe but none other than Kate Middleton who is gracing her first cover for Tatler 。

　　However, the 28-year-old did not pose for the magazine - the image used appears to be one from her official engagement photo call in November. And those anticipating intimate details about the future royal bride's wedding dress will be disappointed - there isn't an accompanying interview。

　　Instead, the rare departure in style for the society title, which usually shoots and interviews its cover stars, marks a "collectors' issue" which celebrates Middleton's engagement to Prince William. The Prince is also given the Warhol treatment inside for its 19-page special on the royal wedding, including a tongue-in-cheek feature predicting what may lie ahead for the married couple, and a piece by India Hicks, who was bridesmaid to Lady Diana Spencer. The late Princess of Wales was a Tatler favourite and appeared on its cover several times. Other members of the Royal family to have featured on its cover include Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie in 2005 and 2008 respectively, and even the Queen on its November 2009 issue。

　　Clarence House today revealed more details about the royal wedding, which is due to take place at Westminster Abbey on April 29. It confirmed that Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, will conduct the service, and that the couple will return to Buckingham Palace in a carriage procession along a route which takes in Parliament Square, Whitehall, Horse Guards Parade, and The Mall. The Queen will then host a reception for the couple and guests inside the Palace。

　　The designer of Middleton's wedding dress is still the subject of intense speculation, with society favourite Bruce Oldfield and Issa designer Daniella Helayel, whose blue dress was worn by Middleton for her engagement announcement, as hot contenders。
