　　I want to build a free-standing piece with drawn pictorial elements integrated in it. One way I thought of to do this is a piece that would center around a stationary bicycle. The bicycle would be sitting in front of two picture screens, each one a loop of fabric mounted on two vertical rollers so that the screen can rotate on the rollers, each extending vertically back from the in front of the bicycle at a 45 degree

　　angle in either direction. The screens would nearly touch directly in front of the bicycle so when the viewer is seated on the seat each screen fills up half of their field of vision. The gears on the bicycle will be connected to two pulleys that will drive the vertical rollers, so that when the viewer pedals, the two screens rotate on their rollers, and the pictorial scene advances. So, it's an illusion of progress. It should be built out of garbage if possible, and I would like a field of plastic bottle caps to surround it.

　　我想构建一件融合绘画图片元素的自由站立的作品。一天我想到要设计一个以静止自行车为中心的作品。自行车将会被摆放于两幅图画屏幕前，两个竖直的轮轴上都裱上了一圈布，因此屏风可以绕着滚轴在自行车前方左右四十五度方向来回旋转。图画屏幕几乎贴近自行车前方，所以当观看者坐在自行车座椅上，每幅图画都将各自一半呈现于他眼前。

　　自行车的齿轮将和两个能驱动竖直滚轴的滑轮连在一起，因此当观看者一踩自行车踏板，两幅图画都绕着滚轴旋转，并且不同的图画将不断展现。因此，这是一种对于进步的想象。如果可能的话，它应该在一堆垃圾上构造，我希望它周围环绕着一堆塑料瓶盖。
